Unlike other ultrasonic humidifiers, the Air-O-Swiss 7133 uses a high quality titanium transducer surface, which uses adjustable high-frequency vibrations to turn water into a micro-fine mist, which is blown into the room to evaporate. The titanium transducer surface is much stronger than ordinary metals, resists rust, lasts longer and requires less cleaning.

• Air-O-Swiss Hydro Stick (included - replace once per year) provides constant freshness in the humidifier. This advanced water maintenance system keeps the humidifier operating at its highest level between recommended cleanings. Good for one year of continuous use, the Hydro Stick is an optional accessory that provides fresh humidifcation performance. Included lifecycle replacement indicator lets you know when to change the Hydro Stick.
• Powerful and replaceable demineralization cartridge (included - replace every 2-3 months) features Ag+ Ionic Silver Technology and helps reduce or eliminate white dust. The plastic housing of the demineralization cartridge is silver treated to inhibit microbial growth on the surface of the cartridge.
• When operated with the separately controlled pre-heating function, the water is first heated to 176° F to eliminate bacteria and viruses. The mist then exits at a pleasant and comfortable body temperature of 104° F.
