Like the Airpura T600, the new Airpura T600DLX features an extra-large 26 lbs 3" deep activated carbon bed for maximum removal the 4000 chemicals, tars and gases found in tobacco smoke. However, the premium carbon in the T600DLX has also been impregnated and is specially treated for maximum absorption of these chemicals.

Tobacco smoke contains over 4000 harmful chemicals and gases, including benzene, toluene, formaldehyde, and at least 60 carcinogens. The 26lbs of enhanced and impregnated premium carbon absorbs these chemicals. Tar is emitted from smoking cigars and cigarettes and contributes to the transmission of the harmful effects of tobacco smoke. The TarBarrier filter traps these tars in the same way as a cigarette filter, and removes them from the air stream.
