The Air-O-Swiss 2055A 2-in-1 Automatic Air Washer / Humidifier simultaneously cleans and humidifies the air without the use of ordinary wick filters. Inside the air washer, special humidifier discs rotate through a water bath. During this process, the air flowing past the discs is cleaned of contaminants in a natural manner - in the same way that the air is washed clean by rain in nature. Airborne particles and allergens as small as 1.5 microns - such as dust, pollen and household odors - are removed from the air naturally, safely, and quietly. A pre-ionizer charges the air with negative ions, causing the cleaning discs to attract particles more easily, like a magnet. Humidification is performed using the self-regulating cold evaporation principle. This method of humidification is the most natural and healthiest way to add pure moisture to the air, without leaving any white dust or residue from mineral deposits. The Air-O-Swiss AOS 2055A Automatic Air Washer is also equipped with the Hydro Stick, which helps keep the humidifier clean and fresh longer. Two fan speeds allow you to run the air washer at night with minimal noise.
