Humidi-TREAT Humidifier Water and Scale Treatment is for use in all portable evaporative humidifiers and is specially formulated to prevent lime and scale buildup and remove impurities from your humidifier wick filter. This is especially important if you have hard water (water with high mineral content), as this will act as a water softener treatment. Humidi-TREAT Water and Scale Treatment will prolong the life of your humidifier wick filter, and help control unpleasant odors. Use this treatment in conjunction with a bacteria treatment for total protection of your humidifier.

For use in all wick-based cool moisture evaporative humidifiers.

How to use:
Because of water hardness in different areas, humidifier usage, and humidity requirements, the amount of HumidiTreat Humidifier Water Treatment needed may vary. Use 1/2 to 3/4 of a capful per 10 gallons of water. If after 1 to 2 weeks of operation, a hard to remove white film appears on the sides of the water container, increase the amount of Humidifier Water Treatment. If this white film easily rubs off with your finger, you are using the right amount of Humidifier Water Treatment.
