Replacement filters for 3M Filtrete Air Purifiers should be changed approximately every three (3) months for optimal performance. The two Ultra Clean models (FAP02-RS and FAP03-RS) are equipped with a unique filter life indicator that actually senses the particle accumulation of the filter based on current air quality in the room.
